		<description>Kim, go you for making financial lemonade out of the big financial lemon that has been this recession.  Personally I think our country will emerge much stronger if more people think like you.  It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.  I am noticing a stubborn (anecdotal) tendency in boomers to cling to the &quot;what the heck - life is short, can&#039;t take it with you&quot; mindset.  Not sure if I&#039;m just a curmudgeonly 30-something (arrogantly or naively) clinging to my mantra of simplicity/frugality who will have my own awakening when I hit my 50s/60s... or if the boomer generation really does think differently.  Time will tell!</description>

I agree with you that the cutting back will last awhile. I think it&#039;s a generational thing- those of us in our 20s and 30s who are still figuring out our lifelong spending habits will probably keep these frugal ones with us, like our grandparents did after WW2. At least that is my plan!</description>
